Mrs. Goode-Douglas is of counsel for the firm and has been with Blue Williams since 2017.  Her practice primarily consists of Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation, including Asbestos Litigation, Occupational Disease, and Products Liability. She has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 2002 and the Illinois state bar association since 1996.


Mrs. Goode-Douglas is a native of New Orleans and an Alumna of Ursuline Academy.  In 1992, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University where she was a member of the Dean’s List.  Mrs. Goode-Douglas received her Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School in 1995.


Following law school, Mrs. Goode-Douglas moved to Chicago, Illinois to join the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.  After six years in Chicago, Mrs. Goode-Douglas returned to New Orleans.  Prior to joining Blue Williams, she  was employed by  the Louisiana Supreme Court, the New Orleans District Attorney’s Office and the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office.  Mrs. Goode-Douglas has over 20 years of litigation experience.

Mrs. Goode-Douglas is admitted to practice in all state courts of Louisiana.  She is also admitted to practice before all state courts in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.  She is also a member of the Jefferson Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
