Christopher M. Hatcher


Attorney Brief

Mr. Hatcher is a partner in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since 2012. His practice consists primarily of corporate representation, franchise law, intellectual property and trademark disputes, corporate governance and planning, and commercial transactions. He was admitted to the bar in 2009.


Mr. Hatcher graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006, earning a bachelor of arts degree in American Studies.  In 2009, he received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where he was a recipient of the CALI award in International Human Rights.


Mr. Hatcher moved to New Orleans from Kansas following Hurricane Katrina to pursue his JD. Prior to joining Blue Williams, he was an associate attorney at Bruno & Bruno, focusing on corporate representation and franchise law. His corporate practice ranges from general corporate representation to franchise development and compliance. Mr. Hatcher also provides assistance in the development, registration, and protection of trademarks and other intellectual property rights.

Mr. Hatcher is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana and the Eastern, Western and Middle Federal District Courts in Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, and American Bar Association, as well as a member of the American Bar Association Franchise Forum.
