Christopher K. LeMieux


Attorney Brief

Mr. LeMieux joined Blue Williams in 2000 as a Law Clerk and in 2005 was elected Partner.  In November 2007, Mr. LeMieux joined a regional design builder as its first General Counsel, serving on its Executive Committee.  In May 2014, Mr. LeMieux re-joined Blue Williams.  His practice consists primarily of construction and employment representing Employers, Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Sureties, Insurers & Subcontractors.


Mr. LeMieux graduated, cum laude, from the University of Alabama in 1998.   He attended Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, obtaining his juris doctor in 2001, where he was selected to Moot Court, Moot Court Board, and Order of Barristers.


Mr. LeMieux has represented contractors, architects, engineers, owners, sureties, insurers and subcontractors in litigation, arbitration, claims, disputes and negotiations and drafting of construction contracts for a variety of projects, including design build, integrated project delivery, multifamily, military, stadiums, manufacturing facilities, historic renovations, parking garages, and mixed residential/use facilities. In addition, Mr. LeMieux has represented employers in a wide variety of employment matters including employment training, wage and hour, ADA, FMLA,  and Title VII. Mr. LeMieux regularly lectures on Construction and Employment Law.

Bars, Courts, and Professional Affiliations

Mr. LeMieux served on the Louisiana Board of Association of General Contractors from 2011-2014 and holds an AV Preeminent rating, the highest possible rating in both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards.
