Sarah Flettrich joined Blue Williams in 2021 as an associate in the Poydras office. She primarily practices in the area of family law.
Sarah is a Louisiana native and attended Ursuline Academy for high school. She earned her B.A. in Sociology and History, with a concentration in Criminology, from Louisiana State University in 2017, and her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2021.
During law school, Sarah was a research assistant for Professor Monica Hoff Wallace, and was a judicial extern for the Honorable June B. Darensburg, Div. C, 24th Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana. Sarah thoroughly enjoyed her time as a Rule X student practitioner in the Children’s Rights and Family Law Clinic under the supervision of Professors Ramona Fernandez and Cheryl Buchert, both of whom remain her beloved mentors. As a Rule X student practitioner, Sarah and her co-counsel represented a minor child in the Louisiana Supreme Court, and their performance on this case earned them an award for Outstanding Clinic Team from the Clinical Legal Education Association. Sarah also earned the Asterisk Award for the highest grade in her clinic class, as well as the Class of 2021 Experiential Learning Award, having completed the most skills credits in her graduating class.

Sarah is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts. She is presently a member of the American Bar Association and the Jefferson Bar Association.
