Kendra L. Harris

Attorney Brief

Kendra Harris joined Blue Williams in 2023 as an associate attorney in the Metairie office. Her practice consists primarily defending state workers’ compensation claims and claims filed under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and the Jones Act.

Education

Ms. Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southern University and A & M College in 2003. In 2015, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Narrative

Ms. Harris was admitted to the bar in 2017. Prior to joining Blue Williams, she practiced civil litigation and personal injury matters. She worked on all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and trial. Ms. Harris has successfully handled substantive civil matters with the intent of obtaining her clients’ desired outcomes. Prior to law school, Ms. Harris was a Claims Adjuster, in which she investigated automobile insurance claims.
