Nicholas “Nick” Alexander Pohl joined Thompson & Reilley, P.C. in 2021 as an associate in the Houston office. His practice consists of automobile / trucking and general insurance litigation.
Mr. Pohl obtained his Bachelor of Business Administrations in Energy Finance with a minor in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin. Thereafter, he achieved his Juris Doctor and diploma from the University of Houston Law Center cum laude.
Mr. Pohl graduated law school and was admitted to the Texas bar in 2018. While in law school, Mr. Pohl clerked for the 1st Court of Appeals under ret. Hon. Terry Jennings, the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office – Felony Division, and plaintiffs’ firms focusing on personal injury and first-party insurance litigation. Afterwards, Mr. Pohl worked as an associate attorney for a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm focusing on automobile, trucking, premises liability, breach of contract, DTPA, non-subscriber, breach of express and implied warranties, fraud, including to jury trial and final arbitration.
Mr. Pohl is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 642 and received the Buck Wayne Scholarship for excellence in environmental law while attending the University of Houston Law Center.

Mr. Pohl is a member of the Texas Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts. Mr. Pohl is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
