Jeremy D. Rush

Attorney Brief

Mr. Rush joined the firm as a partner in the Metairie office in 2022.  His practice primarily consists of labor and employment law, casualty and commercial litigation, and insurance defense.  Mr. Rush is a member of the Bar of the States of Alabama and Louisiana.

Education

Mr. Rush obtained his bachelor of science degree in political science from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, in 2003.  Mr. Rush continued his studies and earned Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2006.

Narrative

Mr. Rush is a native of Semmes, Alabama.  Upon completing his undergraduate studies at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Mr. Rush moved to New Orleans where he attended the School of Law at Loyola University New Orleans from 2003 through 2006. Mr. Rush chose to remain in the New Orleans area to begin his practice after graduation.

Bar, Courts & Professional Affiliations

Mr. Rush is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar.  As such, Mr. Rush is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Louisiana (2006), including its appellate courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court.  Mr. Rush is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Likewise, Mr. Rush is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Alabama (2007), including its appellate courts and the Alabama Supreme Court.  Mr. Rush is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama.
