Jasmine N. Brown

Attorney Brief

Ms. Brown has been with the firm since 2017. Her practice consists primarily of environmental and toxic tort litigation, including asbestos litigation, occupational disease, and products liability.


Ms. Brown graduated cum laude from Loyola University in 2009, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  In 2016, she obtained her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law Degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  At LSU, Ms. Brown was a recipient of the CALI award for achieving the highest grade in Legal Writing and Research.  She also competed as an oralist in the American Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition.


Ms. Brown was born and raised in the New Orleans area and has been admitted to the bar since 2016. During law school, Ms. Brown clerked at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services.  She also served as a Student Attorney in the Immigration Clinic and studied comparative law in Lyon, France.  Prior to joining Blue Williams, Ms. Brown worked as a Regulatory and Compliance Consultant at Deloitte and Touche, LLP in Los Angeles, California.

Awards and Recognition

Ms. Brown was named a finalist for the 2018 Frank L. Maraist award presented by the LADC and the Young Lawyers Committee. In 2019 she received the Citizen Lawyer Award from the Louisiana State Bar Association. Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Star- 2020
