Congratulations to Blue Williams partners Jacob Best and Jessie Finley Gensler for securing a defense verdict in a wrongful death jury trial in Allen Parish involving claims for compensatory and punitive damages stemming from a fatal high-speed commercial motor vehicle accident, where the plaintiff alleged the defendant driver was intoxicated by the use of prescription psychiatric medications.
The jury returned a verdict finding no liability on the part of our client in a case where the plaintiffs requested $69 million in damages in closing arguments.
