Attorney Brief

Mr. Ulmer is an associate in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since 2020.  His practice consists primarily of civil litigation, including toxic torts, premises liability, and general liability & casualty defense.  Mr. Ulmer was admitted to the bar in 2015.


Mr. Ulmer received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of New Orleans and his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center.


After becoming a licensed attorney, Mr. Ulmer has acquired diverse experience in the area of insurance defense, such as premises liability, professional negligence, nursing home litigation, construction defects, automobile defense, and insurance coverage.  Prior to practicing insurance defense, Mr. Ulmer served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans, where he prosecuted both felony and misdemeanor crimes.  Mr. Ulmer is also an adjunct instructor of criminal law at Delgado Community College.
