Cynthia Cleland Roth joined Blue Williams as a partner in 2013. Her practice is focused primarily in the area of general civil litigation involving toxic torts, products liability, professional liability and medical malpractice matters.
Education
Mrs. Roth graduated from St. Scholastica Academy and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 1993. She received her juris doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1998.
Narrative
With litigation experience in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana, Mrs. Roth has managed cases through all phases of litigation. Mrs. Roth has represented contractors, premises owners, manufacturers, and insurers in claims related to exposure to asbestos, benzene, and other toxic tort issues. She has successfully defended clients in claims involving malignant and non-malignant asbestos related diseases, including mesothelioma, and other occupational diseases. She has also represented premises owners and insurers in defense of personal injury and property damage claims. Mrs. Roth has also served as a guest lecturer for insurers and other business organizations on a variety of insurance and environmental topics.
Mrs. Roth admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana, New Orleans, and the Greater Covington Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute (DRI).

Mrs. Roth is admitted to practice before the Eastern, Middle, and Western District Courts of Louisiana and the Supreme Court of Louisiana.
