Litigation Associate – Houston Office

Any successful candidate must possess excellent research, writing and analytical skills, have an interest in practicing in personal injury, auto, trucking, and product liability cases, be self-motivated, and looking for long-term employment. The attorney will have the benefit of working on both high-exposure personal injury matters with a small team of lawyers. Must be licensed to practice in Texas. Litigation Associate – Metairie Office

Workers’ Compensation and LHWCA

Blue Williams, LLC seeks full-time litigation attorney with 3+ years’ experience to work in its Metairie office.  Experience with state compensation and LHWCA is a must. Auto/general casualty experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to capture their time daily and be skilled in file handling and file management, drafting legal documents, legal research, attending depositions, appearing in court, arguing motions, and assisting with trials. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365. Superior academic background with exceptional research and writing skills required.  Candidate needs to be dependable, professional and must be licensed to practice in Louisiana. Blue Williams, LLC has an immediate opening for a legal secretary with strong litigation experience to work in its downtown Houston location.  This position includes preparing letters, pleadings, subpoenas, time entry, preparing check requests, scanning and organizing electronic documents, court filings/e-filings in state and federal courts, opening new matters, calendaring deadlines, scheduling depositions, and meetings.  Candidate must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational and computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.  Candidate needs to be dependable, professional and a team player.
