Mr. Buck is a partner in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since its inception in 1983. His litigation practice consists primarily of insurance law, homeowner’s and general liability claims, construction law, coverage issues and professional liability. He has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 1984.
Education
Mr. Buck attended Louisiana State University and received his bachelor’s degree in management and administration in 1979. After several years as an inspector at the Waterford III Nuclear Power Plant, he returned to school to receive his juris doctor with Law Review honors from Loyola University School of Law in 1984.
Narrative
Mr. Buck began his career with Blue Williams as a law clerk in 1983. He has a general trial practice that focuses on defending homeowners and businesses in property and personal injury claims. He also handles cases involving product liability, automobile and truck accidents, construction defects, defamation, molestation, premises security, employment and housing disputes. He counsels clients on bad-faith claims and coverage issues under a wide variety of policies. His clients include State Farm Fire and Casualty Company, First Financial Insurance Company, The Burlington Insurance Group, Metlife and Traveler’s Insurance Company.

Mr. Buck is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the Jefferson Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He formerly served as the LADC’s president. Mr. Buck practices before all Louisiana state and federal courts.
