Mr. Gruner is a partner in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since 2006. His practice consists primarily of medical malpractice defense, general casualty litigation, premises liability and appeals.
Education
Mr. Gruner obtained a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Louisiana State University in 1989. While an undergraduate, he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and Psi Chi National Honor Society. Mr. Gruner then attended Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, receiving his juris doctor in 1992.
Narrative
Mr. Gruner, a New Orleans native, was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1992. He practiced in the casualty section of a large New Orleans firm from 1992 until 2003, where he primarily represented physician and hospital clients in malpractice and general liability litigation. Prior to joining Blue Williams in 2006, Mr. Gruner was a member of the legal department of Louisiana’s largest medical malpractice insurance company, where he litigated malpractice cases for physician clients.
