Angela Bautista is an associate in the Metairie office and joined the firm in 2021. Her practice consists primarily of federal and state workers compensation, insurance defense, and property and casualty litigation.
Education
Ms. Bautista obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political communication with a double minor in history and political science from Louisiana State University in 2017. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2020, where she was a research assistant, a member of the Advocacy Center and a student member of the St. Thomas More Inn of Court. During law school, Ms. Bautista was selected to be a member of the National Moot Court Team, which is traditionally comprised of the school’s top oralists.
Narrative
Ms. Bautista was admitted to the bar in 2020. While in law school, she was a summer associate at a boutique plaintiff’s firm in New Orleans and an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Prior to joining Blue Williams, Ms. Bautista served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, for whom she also served as an extern in her first year of law school.
