Mr. Maraldo is a partner in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since 1995. His practice consists primarily of business consulting, business transactions, corporate law, commercial litigation, medical malpractice litigation and healthcare law. Education

Mr. Maraldo received his Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Finance, cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 1990. He was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1994 by Tulane University. He served as the Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and as a Senior Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program. Mr. Maraldo was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Federal Criminal Law in 1993. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration in 1994 from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

Narrative

Mr. Maraldo’s practice consists of general business counseling and litigation, business transactions, commercial litigation, and medical malpractice litigation. Regarding his general business and commercial litigation practice, he provides a comprehensive package of legal services to clients ranging from small-business owners to national entities. Some of the services Mr. Maraldo provides are: counseling and advising clients regarding business entity formation, governance, transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and succession planning; drafting business entity formation, organizational, and governance documents; drafting and negotiating leases, buy-sell agreements, asset purchase agreements, employment agreements, and contracts; counseling and advising clients regarding daily entity operations, including manager, shareholder, board, and partner meetings, minutes, and resolutions; and advising clients regarding their contractual rights and obligations, including employment non-competition and non-solicitation issues. Mr. Maraldo’s medical malpractice experience includes the defense of individual and corporate healthcare providers throughout Louisiana. He represents physicians and dentists in medical and dental malpractice claims and has litigated these cases in both state and federal courts. He also represents healthcare providers before administrative and professional boards.
