Mr. Miller joined Blue Williams as an associate in the Metairie office in 2014. He was named partner in 2016. His practice consists primarily of medical malpractice defense, automobile and trucking litigation, governmental and municipal liability, commercial litigation, and general casualty litigation.

Education

Mr. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Louisiana State University in 2006. He graduated cum laude from Paul M. Hebert Law School of Law at LSU in 2009 earning his Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law. During his time at LSU Law, Mr. Miller served on the Louisiana Law Review, and in 2009, he served as the Volume 69 Production Editor. Mr. Miller was a summer associate at Blue Williams in 2008, before rejoining Blue Williams in 2014.

Narrative

Mr. Miller was admitted to the bar in 2009. After law school, Mr. Miller served as law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Catherine D. Kimball with the Louisiana Supreme Court for two years. In his second year with the Chief Justice, he served as her senior law clerk. After his work at the Louisiana Supreme Court, Mr. Miller’s practice focused on medical malpractice defense, healthcare law, and professional liability. Mr. Miller rejoined Blue Williams in 2014 where his practice has expanded. Mr. Miller has represented healthcare providers and private companies in multiple bench and jury trials throughout Louisiana and has extensive appellate practice experience.
