Education

Mr. Palermo received his bachelor of science degree from Louisiana State University in 1985 and his juris doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 1989. While at Loyola, he was a member of theÂ Loyola Law Review.

Narrative

With litigation experience in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, Mr. Palermo has represented product manufacturers, premises owners, maritime interests, and insurers in defense of personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage claims. Mr. Palermo has served as a guest lecturer for the Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Claims Association and several other organizations and businesses on a variety of insurance, marine and environmental topics, including the Louisiana Insurance Code, Excess Insurance, Toxic Torts, Jones Act, Longshore and Harbor Workersâ€™ Compensation Act and Marine Insurance.
