Ryan J. Roemershauser

Mr. Roemershauser is a partner in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since 2004. His practice consists primarily of physician, pharmacy and hospital liability defense, premises liability defense and general civil litigation. He has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 1998 and is also admitted to practice in the state of Texas.

Education

Mr. Roemershauser graduated from Jesuit High School and received a bachelor of arts degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. He received his juris doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 1997.

Narrative

A native of the New Orleans area, Mr. Roemershauser returned to New Orleans to attend Loyola University School of Law. After law school, Mr. Roemershauser practiced with a small litigation firm focusing on complex civil litigation and criminal defense in both state and federal court. He joined Blue Williams as an associate in 2004 and was made a partner of the firm in 2007.

Mr. Roemershauser is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana and Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
