Narrative

Ms. Sears is a proud native Houstonian. She earned her Bachelor of Business Adminstration in Management from Texas A&M University in 2017. After graduation, she joined AmeriCorps VISTA program for a year, where she was placed at the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation to focus on promoting literacy in the Houston area. Ms. Sears then attended the University of Houston Law Center and obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2021. During law school, she was on the executive board for the Black Law Student’s Association and the Alternative Dispute Resolution team.

Since passing the bar, Ms. Sears has practiced a wide array of different legal areas, from family law to personal injury. Prior to coming to Blue Williams, she worked as an assistant city attorney with the City of Houston, where she defended the city and its employees in auto accidents and slip and falls.

When Ms. Sears is not practicing law, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband.
