Attorney Brief

Mr. Tweedel is a partner in the Metairie office and has been with the firm since 2006. His practice consists primarily of construction litigation, insurance law, personal/commercial property and casualty litigation, and workers’ compensation. He has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 2005.

Education

Mr. Tweedel graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor of arts degree in theatre. In 2005, he was awarded his JD from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. While completing his legal curriculum, Mr. Tweedel was selected to be a member of Loyola’s prestigious Moot Court program and taught in the Moot Court program as a student faculty member. In addition, he served as the managing and print editor of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was a member of Loyola’s ATLA program, competing on their National Criminal Defense Team.

Narrative

Mr. Tweedel is a graduate of Louisiana State University. While at LSU, he was on the Dean’s List and active in the theatre program. He spent a year abroad studying in England and traveling around Europe. While in law school at Loyola, he had the opportunity to study international law in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Prior to joining Blue Williams in 2006, Mr. Tweedel was a law clerk in the 40th Judicial District Court.

Mr. Tweedel is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana. Additionally, he is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and LADC.
