Education
Ms. Wilmore earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, minoring in political science and graduating cum laude in 2001. She obtained her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 2004 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board.
Narrative
Ms. Wilmore is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in several areas of law, including medical malpractice defense, health care law, medical staff peer review, health care professional licensing, hospital medical staff credentialing, hospital reimbursement claims and insurance defense. Ms. Wilmore has represented hospitals, physicians, nurses, dentists, podiatrists and other health care professionals over the years. Ms. Wilmore has first and second chaired numerous bench and jury trials over the course of her career. She has participated in a number of arbitration hearings involving contract disputes regarding physician recruitment agreements and income guarantee agreements in various jurisdictions. Ms. Wilmore has represented physicians and other health care professionals in credentialing and privilege hearings and professional licensure proceedings. She has appeared before multiple appellate courts in Louisiana and a wide variety of district courts across the state. She has represented clients before the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry and the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. She has also handled matters pending before various other administrative agencies. Ms. Wilmore began her legal career with Beahm & Green in New Orleans. Before joining Blue Williams, Ms. Wilmore was a partner at Niles, Bourque & Knight, L.L.C.
