Narrative
Robert’s practice focuses on civil litigation involving healthcare, commercial and business disputes, insurance law, class actions, and professional liability. He works with clients to understand the potential financial, operational, and reputational consequences of litigation and to develop strategies aligned with their objectives.
His class action experience includes claims involving medical devices, automobile-related tax issues, hospital emergency operations following Hurricane Katrina, and alleged violations of balance-billing laws. These matters have required the management of complex factual records, multiple parties, significant damages allegations, and evolving legal issues.
In his healthcare practice, Robert represents hospitals and other medical providers in litigation and related proceedings. He serves as an attorney chair for medical review panels requested under the Louisiana Medical Malpractice Act and previously served as chair of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel’s Medical Malpractice Section.
