Litigation Attorney
Blue Williams, LLC is seeking a full-time Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience to join our Metairie office.
Experience in toxic tort litigation and insurance law is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and case management skills and be able to accurately record billable time on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include:

Ideal candidates should have 3+ years of law firm experience, 70 wpm typing speed, excellent computer skills, time entry, preparing subpoenas, e-filing in State and Federal courts, excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills. Candidates must have strong organizational skills with good attention to detail. Candidates need to be dependable, punctual, professional and a team player.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in first- and third-party insurance defense. Candidates should possess exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills, along with substantial experience handling personal injury, automobile, trucking, and product liability matters.
Qualified candidates will have experience:

Bilingual Litigation Paralegal
Houston law firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of litigation experience and be fluent in both English and Spanish. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities

Draft legal documents, including routine pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, affidavits, and correspondence.

Electronically file documents in Texas state and federal courts in accordance with applicable court rules and procedures.

Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities; prepare written summaries and analyses for attorneys.

Prepare summaries of client, plaintiff, defendant, and witness statements.

Organize, maintain, retrieve, and manage electronic case files and supporting documentation.

Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial materials.

Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related appointments.

Scan, index, and maintain electronic documents.

Accurately record billable time and complete other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
