Federal and state workers’ compensation, insurance defense, and property and casualty litigation for employers, insurers, businesses, and other organizations throughout Louisiana.

Angela Bautista helps clients defend workplace injury claims and civil litigation involving automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, insurance matters, and other property and casualty losses.

Angela works with employers, insurance carriers, claims professionals, and businesses to investigate claims, evaluate liability and damages, and develop defense strategies tailored to their legal and operational priorities. She helps clients identify important issues early, manage the litigation process, and pursue efficient, well-supported resolutions.

Before entering private practice, Angela served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Her federal court experience provides valuable insight into judicial decision-making, legal analysis, written advocacy, and courtroom procedure.

Angela joined Blue Williams in 2021 and is a partner in the firm’s Metairie office.

Angela’s practice focuses on federal and state workers’ compensation, insurance defense, and property and casualty litigation. She represents clients in matters involving workplace injuries, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, and other disputes arising from alleged personal injury or property damage.

Angela works closely with clients and claims professionals to understand the facts surrounding an incident, evaluate potential exposure, review medical and damages evidence, and develop an effective defense. Her approach emphasizes early investigation, clear communication, careful legal analysis, and efficient case management.

Before joining Blue Williams, Angela served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle in the Eastern District of Louisiana. Her federal court experience provides valuable insight into judicial decision-making, legal analysis, written advocacy, and courtroom procedure.

These experiences give Angela a broad perspective on civil litigation and help her anticipate how claims may be developed, presented, and evaluated.
