Megan Gladner is a partner in Blue Williams’ Mandeville office who defends employers, insurers, self-insured businesses, and third-party administrators in Louisiana workers’ compensation claims.
Megan understands that workplace injuries can affect an organization’s operations, workforce, insurance costs, and long-term risk-management strategy. She works with clients from the initial investigation of a reported accident through medical management, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeal. Her goal is to help clients make informed decisions, control unnecessary exposure, and move claims toward an efficient resolution.
Before joining Blue Williams in 2024, Megan spent several years representing employers in Louisiana workers’ compensation proceedings.

Narrative
Megan represents clients in claims involving alleged workplace accidents, occupational injuries, medical treatment, disability benefits, wage calculations, return-to-work issues, and disputed causation. She works with employers and claims professionals to understand how the accident allegedly occurred, determine whether the available evidence supports compensability, and identify the medical and indemnity issues likely to affect the claim.
Her practice includes evaluating accident reports, employment records, surveillance, witness statements, medical histories, diagnostic findings, and expert opinions. When a claimant has preexisting conditions or alleges that work aggravated an earlier injury, Megan helps clients assess whether the medical evidence establishes the required connection to the workplace.
Megan also assists with the ongoing management of accepted claims. She advises clients concerning medical treatment, vocational rehabilitation, suitable employment, modified-duty opportunities, disability status, benefit calculations, and settlement strategy. She recognizes that an effective defense must consider both the immediate litigation and the practical realities of the workplace.
After law school, Megan spent three years working with the Deepwater Horizon Economic and Property Damages Settlement Program. That experience required the careful review of detailed claims, supporting documentation, and alleged financial losses arising from a major regional event. It strengthened the analytical and organizational skills she now brings to workers’ compensation matters.
