Welcoming New Partner, Jon A. Van Steenis
Blue Williams, LLC is pleased to announce that Jon A. Van Steenis has joined the firm as a partner in the Houston office. Mr. Van Steenis is originally from Fremont, California and now resides in Houston, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California at Berkeley and in 1999 received his Juris Doctor from Regent University-Virginia. He also attended Tulane University where he received his Masters of Law & Literature in Energy and Environmental Law in 2001. He is licensed in all state and federal courts in both Louisiana and Texas, as well as multiple federal appellate and bankruptcy courts.
Jon’s practice primarily consists of healthcare law, medical malpractice, professional liability and commercial litigation, and he brings with him over twenty years of experience. He is a Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation and of the Texas Bar Foundation. The Texas Bar Foundation only invites 1/3 of 1% of Texas lawyers annually to become Fellows. In 2022, Mr. Van Steenis was named as one of 7 Top Lawyers for Healthcare Law in Houston according to Houstonia Magazine. Throughout his career, Jon has distinguished himself through his commitment to quality and tremendous client service. We are delighted to welcome him to the Blue Williams team.
