LaCour and Sconzert Share Expertise: Legal Intersections in Behavioral Health Situations

On November 15, partners Elizabeth Sconzert and Greg LaCour shared their expertise about the legal intersections in behavioral health situations with members of the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association. During this CLE, Mrs. Sconzert discussed the parameters of immediate legal interventions for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis while Mr. LaCour addressed the implications of the interdiction process under Louisiana law. Participants not only received continuing legal education credits for attending the presentation, but also left with real-life examples of how these legal issues show up in our everyday lives.
