Pope and Towers Volunteer in Orlando

On Saturday, August 18th, Blue Williams partners Eric Pope and Frank Towers participated in a volunteer effort organized by the WCI (Workers Compensation Institute) in Orlando, Florida at “Give Kids the World Village.” The  “Give Kids The World Village” is a nonprofit resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families that provides accommodations and access to donated theme park tickets. This volunteer effort drew over 1,000 volunteers to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the Village remains a special and vibrant place for many years to come. Eric and Frank helped put together shelves for storage units and presented a check for $1,000 to the Village to assist with the renovations of the “Ice Cream Palace,” which is one of the more popular attractions for the children staying at the Village since it provides unlimited sources of ice cream at all times during the day and even ice cream for breakfast.

Blue Williams is proud to participate in this worthwhile endeavor and we encourage everyone to please consider donating their time through volunteer efforts or making a monetary donation to “Give Kids The World Village.”
