Towers and Sweeney attend NOCA Lunch

On Thursday, September 27th, Frank Towers and Craig Sweeney attended the New Orleans Claims Association Lunch Meeting held at Andy’s Bistro. The topic was Louisiana’s Heroin Epidemic and the Overuse of Opioids. There they had an opportunity to meet William “Beau” Clark, MD, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner, who gave a presentation on the dangers of opioids and how the State of Louisiana is attempting to combat this epidemic. They also participated in a question and answer portion with Dr. Clark in learning how to handle claims involving injured workers or plaintiffs, with excessive opioid use and likely addiction.
